Last Updated: April 16, 2026

Overview

CurricuLogic, a product of Conplexus LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), provides software used by educational institutions to manage and analyze curriculum-related information. This Privacy Policy explains, at a high level, how we collect, use, and share information when you use the platform.

FERPA and Educational Data

CurricuLogic is intended to support institutions in their educational privacy and access-control efforts, including obligations they may have under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Our platform includes features that can help institutions manage access to educational records and related data. Use of our platform does not by itself guarantee FERPA compliance.

Institutions remain responsible for their own configuration, internal policies, user administration, and legal obligations.

Platform controls may include:

  • Organization-level data isolation to help prevent cross-institutional access
  • Role-based access controls to help ensure only authorized personnel can view or modify data
  • Encryption of data transmission using industry-standard protocols where applicable

Account and Profile Information

When an account is created, we may collect profile details such as name, email address, and institutional affiliation.

Organization Membership and Role Information

We may collect information about organization membership, permissions, and user roles needed to administer access and collaboration within an institution.

Curriculum and Map Data

We process curriculum maps, learning outcomes, course information, and related data that institutions or authorized users create, upload, or maintain in the platform.

Usage and Log Information

We automatically collect operational information about platform use, including access logs, device/browser metadata, and feature interaction data.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the CurricuLogic platform
  • To authenticate users and administer accounts, roles, and permissions
  • To support collaboration and workflow management within institutions
  • To monitor system performance, security, and reliability

Third-Party Services

We rely on third-party service providers to help operate and deliver the platform, including:

  • Clerk: Authentication and user management
  • Neon Database: Secure data storage
  • Vercel: Application hosting and delivery

These providers process data under their own applicable terms and commitments. Where applicable, we use agreements and controls intended to help protect customer data.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

  • Institutional agreements and policies
  • Applicable legal, regulatory, or accreditation requirements
  • Operational and technical constraints related to data deletion

Deletion requests are reviewed and processed in accordance with applicable law, institutional obligations, and technical constraints. In many cases, educational institutions control the underlying records and retention decisions.

Your Rights

Depending on your relationship with the institution using CurricuLogic and applicable law, you may be able to:

  • Request access to personal information
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of account or personal information, where available
  • Request export of institution-managed curriculum data, where supported
  • Manage preferences for non-essential communications

Some requests may be limited by institutional control of data, legal obligations, and other requirements under applicable law.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information processed through the platform. These safeguards may include access controls, authentication mechanisms, encryption in transit where applicable, and infrastructure security practices.

No system can guarantee absolute security, and we cannot ensure or warrant the complete security of data transmitted over networks or stored in electronic systems.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When updates are made, we will revise the "Last Updated" date on this page. Where appropriate, we may provide additional notice through the platform or by email.
